Brand has somehow apparently become the voice of the anti-establishment anti-capitalist movement.

I'm sure his heart is in the right place, but he's quite simply not knowledgeable enough to take on that mantle. He has no legitimacy beyond his fame and he admits that he knows nothing about economics and has an aversion to graphs and statistics that contradict his arguments.

I don't think he's the messiah some portray him to be.

Out of UKIPs 40,000 members less than 30 have been publicly ousted as being racist, homophobic, discriminative and sexist. Now when you look at the other 3 they have had more members sent to prison LMFAO each than UKIP members have been found guilty of such accusations.

As a Disabled person I will tell you this. UKIP do not represent Disabled people. The majority of Disability organisations do not trust UKIP. Disabled people are now a organized voting block just like Pensioners. So UKIP do not represent the majority of workers. They represent a minority of workers. If UKIP get a majority of MP's in the general election you can come out with that claim but for now you are a minority.

You have 2 MPs. UKIP have a tiny influence. Like a mouse squeaking British Jobs for British workers.

I've always seen straight through Russel Brand. It's funny how he's so anti-politician, yet his response in the OP's video is the most politician-like response he could have possibly given. He didn't answer the question and tried to shift the topic onto something else. The fact of the matter is he knows there's a contradiction in his seemingly Marxist-style logic with him owning or renting a very expensive house. That's why he tries to shift the topic, and that's why he lets the woman start piping up to the interviewer at the end of the video so that the attention is taken off him.
