What course do you have an offer for? I'm Global health and social medicine.
It's a bit annoying that its so far off as I'm still really undecided (and still waiting on two other unis to reply) so could have used the input a bit sooner to help me decide..

Have you firmed Kings?
PPE No I haven't decided yet either. I'm still waiting for Edinburgh. Why is it that your course isn't taught at the medicine department?
It's a dual faculty degree so its taught in social science and public policy from the more political/public health context alongside clinical modules taught in the bioscience faculty to ultimately achieve a BSc but there's also a BA version of the degree with no bioscience element...its a weird one!
I'm still waiting on Queen Mary's and UCL...it seems the big unis keep lots of people hanging until the 11th hour!

I'm going with a friend who's a current student doing Global health and social medicine, I think she likes it so far, she works a lot but that's because she wants to get a first
That one, the rest are for other faculties and courses like medicine, biochemistry etc.

Is the Edinburgh course not a 4 year one?
Yes, it's a 4 year course. But you get a MA at the end.

That's useful to know- it was a new degree at Kings last year so obviously not much student feedback yet. I'm torn between this degree and a pure biosciences one also at Kings...and then possibly other universities if I got another offer.

What course are you?
At the moment I hold an unconditional for International Development, waiting for UCL and KCL politics department to get back to me but at least I've got that offer on hold. Go to both the open days and then have a look to see which one you prefer.
I did. They gave me Econs and Management instead. Which is why I'm not sure I wanna go there... I'd rather study PPE in the middle of nowhere (Warwick) than EnM in London.
