Rodgers has shown us last season wasn't fluke by demonstrating he can get this team working and churning out excellent runs of form.

That's not true even Shaqiri went to Inter Milan who is even worse than Liverpool. United signed Di Maria even though they're not in the CL I think Liverpool is just not an attractive club for players.

Thing is if Rodgers is a 2nd half of the season manager then there's absolutely no point of him being in Europe.
Definitely - hopefully with more time and the ability to craft a team with greater quality, he can get us going much earlier in seasons.
As good as we are in the 2nd half, I really don't like playing catch up, because if you don't make it, all that hard work was for nothing :/
