No one has accused you of buying your way to the top, we're accusing you of buyins your way into 4th...

We're only 2 points off you though atm :s-smilie: but then again Arsenal rarely ever win the title so i can see why you said buy your way to 4th and how it really offends you since 4th always belongs to Arsenal :pierre:

That's some good lemon tears right there. You need to raise that pH a little though.

Yeah man, wish I had a man like fellaini in my team who miss sitters 1v1 from 12 yards against his old teams. And the 3rd goal... Dat offside trap doe, although the officiating was a little but #fishy

So you spent £150mil to STILL be worse than a team that specialises in failure if you believe the press?

Why are you so mad?

Dont see the difference between 2nd and 3rd or even 4th (albeit an extra qualification round for CL). History doesnt remember the runners up but rather the winner. Cant blame you though, must be painful to have not watched your club win the title for what 11 seasons now? :smug:

I'm a Chelsea supporter pal
not sure about city finishng 4th..

their games are just to nice.. Sure they are not easy normally, but at this time of year, 3 of the 4 teams they are playing, have nothing really to fight for, or are out of form.. and the relegation side, is at home.

Spurs + southampton have been terrible recently.. swansea have nothing to play for. etc.

I dont really see them dropping that many points.

If we can get a draw with united at old trafford, I expect it to finish something like:

Arsenal - WWDWW = 80pts
City - DWDW = 75pts
United - WWDW = 75pts

With city 3rd on goal difference.

With the form they've been in, they could very easily drop points to both Spurs and Southampton even if the latter two have been bad. Swansea have the SMALLEST chance of finishing 7th and gaining Europa (unlikely but it's still possible if City beat both Spurs and Soton then Swansea can get 7th)

If the rumours about Rooney being injured are true then it's great news for us, and possibly means 3 points are more likely (though I do expect a draw).

A return of 80pts wouldn't be terrible, it's only 1pt above what we achieved last year but the league has been harder this year and we have to take into consideration our awful start to the campaign.

82 pts would be very nice too though

Rooney was non existant in the Spurs, Liverpool, City and Chelsea games which we all either won or comfortably dominated. What you meant to say was if Carrick was still injured...

Every big club will go through a slump but for Liverpool, 25 years is horrific. We went 25/26 years without winning the title as well, hopefully Liverpool's drought continues for another 50 years .
