Libya was never safe, lets just put it that way.
Honestly, Gaddafi had been way better than the current government because he was one thing, a dictator. A dictator whom beheaded, tortured and killed those who were against him. He had power, and therefore was able to control Libya the way he did. He didn't do much to ensure that Libya was a successful and developing country even though he had access to A LOT of money thanks to the production of oil in Libya. I don't think this is really answering your question but just put into perspective that after the French revolution it took years and years for France to be economically and socially stable. Just give Libya a few years and hopefully we'll succeed in stabilising the country.

I don't think it's safer, hence the excessive killing taking place in a daily routine.

Well during the dictator days - Libya used to produce 4 times more oil than it currently does due to the conflicts that's currently taking place. Well I am anti Ghadaffi, but the truth is the truth😁😳
