Do girls genuinely like guys?

Silly question. Where would the ability to breed be if infatuation never existed?

Idk, I just got the impression from my ex gfs they didn't like me and wernt very affectionate/caring, I haven't really associated with people much over the last year as I self taught A levels, and I see some guys are really pushy on the girl so I wonder if they just get with them for that, I'm aware my attitude isn't healthy but that's why I'm staying away from relationships until I've sorted my head out I just dont really know, I mean I like girls I just feel they would never like me so I should never make a move, as even if they say yes its like it would never be equal?
No, it's all a ruse to get to your wallet.

You are talking about a general idea of women, being submissive and in general weak. this however is not the case for a lot of women in modern western society. Heterosexual relationships bare a lot more equality nowadays. women do not stay with men because they are passive and have no say nor because men are 'pushy' overpowering, dominant or financially stable. it is based around emotion and genuine attraction for the general population. Financial stability or dominations are more like secondary factors, or may not even play a role.
These posts get dumber by the day...OP what do you want us to say? No, girls don't like guys, we just hypnotise them and impregnate them with our kids.

Good shout tbf what am I thinking, I just feel a burden on them tbf but that's nothing I can't change, but I'm like wouldn't they rather be with a girl?! (I would)

Sexual attraction in my opinion is fixed, biological. so if they are straight they are straight. There is an evident burden on then and that is socialisation process making women more passive, but in today's society individual strength is viewed as necessary along with equality.
But it seems guys do the approaching and the courting and if girls were really interested they would make the effort, I just feel they accept when you ask them out just to go along, and I don't really want to be with someone who doesn't like me
They do, but I feel they make it far less obvious than guys do. I mean from my own POV I can get into friendly conversations with girls & I'm sure the ones I know think I'm a decent enough person, getting them to be romantically interested in me is a whole different story though...
