It doesn't have such a right in England. As long as children receive an "efficient" education, there is no obligation to send them to school.

I agree, it's terribly slow and average and if you are reasonably smart, a lot of time is just wasted. But at least it is something, I suppose.

Having seen some parents in the UK I'm glad that they aren't educating people. Education is, to an extent, in the hands of parents; they pick between different schools
