Deciding on a career

Hello everyone, I'm about to finish my BTEC Applied Science Level 3 and my A2 Biology and I am torn as to what to embark on as a career.
I have an interest in healthcare but also education and was I wondering what is the best option for me either a degree in education or Biology and become a teacher or choose a career such as audiology?
What are the advantages and disadvantages of both and what can i branch onto in the future of both careers?

My advice would be to do a Biology based degree, you could specialise somewhat if you'd like and then do a PGCE after, that was not only will you have a better knowledge of Biology allowing you to teach it better at a higher level, you also have a degree that would allow you to work in the field, if you did a straight degree in Education you wouldnt be able to go for a Biology related career

Hope this helps

Just wondering what are your thoughts on embarking on another biology based care profession such as audiology or optometry as opposed to biology degree

No worries,

I guess its up to you, I dont know a lot about the field but if you can do a general degree like Biology and still go into something specific then do it, however, if you find something that you can really see yourself doing then go for it, also you can still do a PGCE with Biology focus with a degree in something like Optometry or Audiology

Hey sorry to bother you again but I was wondering what other jobs other than a teacher can you get with a biology degree?
