I would get him to at least phone/Skype you first just so you know he's legit and if he is then meet up, also take a friend for the first 10 minutes to make sure it will all be okay

Boys can be victims of abuse from online phycos too, everyone has to be really cautious. You just don't know how many people could be waiting for you so you can't rely on being able to struggle your way out of a situation.
