Quick ocr A Biology question

Do you need to know about the properties of ATP that makes it a universal energy store? or just limited to the structure and how phosphorylation occurs?

And do you need to know the procedure of the gram stain technique?

(The official ocr textbook has all this extra info so i dont know if you need to know it. Please help!)

Just to be on the safe side look at both, as in the edexcel one you are required to know just one of them. Best bet is to look at your spec

Check your specification as you revise. I do this for AQA Biology to skip any extra stuff the textbooks have.
The spec says:
the structure of ADP and ATP as phosphorylated nucleotides

To include the use of differential staining to identify
different cellular components and cell types.
