8 weeks.

This is a game of patience.

Oh nice! They did tell me within 2 weeks as the last interviews were today.. Wales seem to be the last to recruit going by this forum.

Haha I won't hold my breath then!

I've also applied for the civil service apprenticeship and the interview is in London, so I was hoping I'd hear before and potentially avoid a trip to London for a 3 hour interview if I was successful. Looks like a trip to London is on the cards as I don't want to sack it off just in case I don't even get on the reserve list 😄

I had an interview for a EO 2 weeks ago and found out my result within 3 working days... Put on the reserve list however, so god knows how long that could take.

Does anyone know how the reserve process works? I'm assuming it's based on merit/scores. However, is it a reserve list for specific areas/roles?

On reserve list for manchester area. I have heard a lot of people in this area are on the reserve list. Surely they will be fair and let us know whether it is likely we will be offered jobs. Have also heard that a lot of people on reserve list will be offered positions. The DWP will end up losing potentially talented people by delaying.

What was your score? I was on the reserve and now WC in S.Manchester..
Hi Guys!

Regarding references, I have a gap between January 2017 and April 2017. Will this be a problem?
If you have a gap you have the box to explain why, don't worry !

I scored 21 and was on waiting list for 3 months before starting. I'm in my 3rd week of being WC.. Training is all over Manchester.. travelling time within 90 mins...You may not necessarily get your first choice of location for your job...

Well hopefully I will manage to land something. Have been waiting a while for this opportunity, big change from my background so some of the competencies were a little difficult to give completely transferable examples. Have also applied to south manchester but have assumed they may be very popular for applicants.
Have you heard back from CSR about your pre employment checks?

I don't think you will get sent to Longsight as that is earmarked for closure.. Rusholme is a good one to go to... One other girl I started with is travelling from Salford to S.Manc..

I'm sure you will be called up very soon in a few months time.. first few weeks is elearnibg then you may get sent off site to do training.
