Is the apple really as big as they say? Have you visited Empy? Have you seen any really hot guys/girls (whichever way you guys swing)
If our reduction is not stereospecific, then how can our product be enantiomerically pure?
Can you go to Vanessa's dumpling house for me.... I am hungry.

Oh, I seriously am so jealous of you... and there'll be pickles in it

Good!

Gazillions - I used to work for an American company based in London, and regularly travelled to NYC. I absolutely love it - haven't been for some time now. You'll have an absolute ball.

Which company was this?
You should go to Katz Deli, 53rd and 6th Halal Guys and Joe's Pizza.
Also don't forget Wall Street, the Wall Street Bull and the New York Stock Exchange
Good thing you aren't there in the middle of summer, some interesting and particularly bad smells in that city.

Have you had your first deli sandwich yet?

Not as yet, but I'll add it to the list

The apple is very big indeed

Is Empy the Empire State? If so, we're going in a couple of hours! :gah:

Hmm, does it count if they're the pwrson I travelled with? :mmm: And Bubbles says not yet, but we'll keep an eye out

You lucky, lucky people.

Have you had pastrami on rye yet? Or bagels?

Just had a bagel as part of breakfast, it was so good! I feel very stereotypical having a burger and chips last night and a bagel this morning, but I'm loving the food here :colone:

Was wondering, did you guys meet through TSR?

The smell of hot garbage gets carried across the Hudson from New Jersey on windy days, and all the dumpsters that are already full start to get a pretty bad smell to.

I think the only places in that city without a funky smell are Central Park (smells a tad bit like horse s*** but still) & Upper East Side which smells like vanilla.

I think it's a beautiful city, but the smell, my god the smell.

Are you going to boo and hiss outside Trump Tower, saying 'this is for TSR'.
How many times have you been to wonderful NYC?

Trump Tower is a nightmare - when I was there at Christmas it was basically cornered off with security check points and bag searches - just to walk past it!

Poor 5th Avenue!
How was the aiport journey
Has anyone told you to "get the **** out of my way" yet? :teehee:

Is there anything that you'd recommend seeing, if you've been before?

I'll post some up this evening

If you're in the area, I'd stick my head into the main branch of NY Public library - it's an amazing building, and the Rose reading room is a sight, even more so when it's full. It's on 5th avenue so nice and central. Whilst you're in Manhattan, I'd just have a wander around and just take it all in - go down to Greenwich village. Oh, you're SOO lucky :smile:
