A level maths in a gap year

I want to study Economics at uni but I am worried that my application would look weak without Maths. What is the likelihood of being able to complete A level maths in a gap year to a good standard.
Sorry you've not had any responses about this. :frown: Are you sure you've posted in the right place? Here's a link to our subject forum which should help get you more responses if you post there.

It depends on how easily you can teach yourself new things. Studying maths to that standard won't be particularly difficult, especially given the enormous amount of resources available online. It will, however, require that you sit down and regularly study to make sure that you retain everything for the exams. If you put the effort in you'll be fine.
