INA: Jeffrey’s always been enamoured with boats, he actually daydreams about having one.
INA: BREATHES SUDDENLY
INA: I’m gonna indulge him a little today and take him down to the fishing docks, but we’ll be buying the seafood instead of catching it.
INA: For a little picnic harbour-side, I’m making delicious California BLTs. Then we’re shopping for fresh local scallops that I’ll serve Provençal style for dinner with herb basmati rice. And for dessert, a classic panna cotta, with balsamic strawberries, which we’ll set in the fridge while we’re sitting by the water.

INA: On the weekends I try and make as much ahead as possible so I can… really spend time with Jeffrey. So I’m gonna make panna cotta with strawberries - it’s a great make-ahead dessert.
INA: So, first thing I’m gonna do is dissolve some gelatine, ‘bout, half a pack of gelatine and one and a half tablespoons of cold water.
INA: Just gonna let that soften for about 10 minutes and it’s gonna get firmer.
INA: SHARP BREATH
INA: Then I’m gonna add it to the dessert.
