Hi, I have booked accommodation at IQ Leeds, first year but postgrad. I've never stayed in uni accommodation, so should be a good experience. I think you will find pros and cons in any accommodation you look at. IQ is close to uni of leeds and a nice social area

hmm on the website it says iQ only available 2016/2017

That can't be right. I secured my accomodation at IQ Leeds Marsden House for this September, and had a viewing last week also. I don't know how many rooms are left, but its worth checking.Monisha.

Hey,

Are you still looking for accommodation? If you're looking to stay in private halls, we have a few rooms still available at our Burley Road student village.

The Village is about 15 minutes' away on the bus (20 minutes if you're walking) from the University's campus, and just a 10-minute walk away from the city centre and all of its shops, bars and the train station.

Our rooms are all en-suite and range from single bed rooms to newly refurbished doubles. We also have some exciting Village Life events kicking off in September (free BBQs, movies nights, and lots more) so it will be easy to meet your new neighbours.

Let us know if you have any other questions! You can find more info on our website: https://www.mystudentvillage.com/uk/leeds/burley-road/
I stayed at IQ in my first room, its clean, they did maintenance fast, it was quiet but I made friends with some girls down my corridor, my flat itself was quiet as I was at UOL and they went to Beckett, but because I was close to campus and the city centre it didn't really matter as it was easy to go and socialise with my course mates and go to society stuff

Hello! I am looking for a replacement tenant at IQ Leeds, starting from September, 8. If anyone is interested in renting an en-suite room there for 2018-2019, please let me know.
Hi I'm interested on your replacement room. May I know more information about it?

I’ve lived there last year and will be going back this year in September. What exactly do you need to know? If you are very sociable and want to mix with Uni of Leeds students iQ is not the best option. If you want somewhere a bit quieter and a moderate social life iQ is the place for you. It’s mostly a quiet student accommodation with many non-UK students studying in a variety of Unis in Leeds from beckett, to the Uni of, Uni of Art and the collage of Music. If you’re looking for a super-sociable experience you should choose Leodis, it’s a little bit closer to the actual university and it’s MASSIVE, you’ll meet loads of freshers like yourself. In iQ there’s many masters/postgraduate students whereas in Leodis it’s mostly freshers. Hope that helped, good luck!

hi are u still looking for a room at iq leeds? I am looking for a replacement tenant for my platinum ensuite plus room for 51 weeks. Started on 8 september and ends on 31 aug 2019. the price i am paying is cheaper than current price. do hit me up if interested
If you stay here you are going to hugely regret it. Any problems you have with your room are never going to be solved! From personal experiences they conduct construction work during term time for long periods of time which is super noisy, will block all your windows(meaning no sunlight/view). Any email you send them will never be replied to and the accommodation manager is absolute **** at doing her job and extremely insensitive. As for the price, the photos they post on their website are FAKE and it is massively overpriced. There are way better places to stay in Leeds both in quality and price. Do not be trapped and save yourself some money. This is legit the worst place you can stay in Leeds.
Don't make a mistake!
Im not sure what accomodation to pick. i was considering IQ but your paragraph has put me off it haha. Id want to live somewhere 10-20 mins walking distance from the uo leeds, somewhere sociable but not loud (not a massive fan of partying and drinking) and preferably less than 140 per week. Also ensuite and self catered. What would u recommend?

Hi Abby, if it's University of Leeds you're considering going to, we have student accommodation at just a 15 minute walk from there (Burley Road). We provide five types of en-suite rooms, so you're sure to find one that suits your budget. All your bills are included in the price (except TV license), so you don't have to worry about any unexpected electricity, water and gas bills. Our Burley Road accommodation offers car parking, 24/7 support/staff, and a free kitchen clean every two weeks. If you're interested, email us at [email protected] or call 0161 850 6664
