for my a level history coursework/NEA I'm looking to focus my coursework on american organised crime from 1900-2000, does anyone know any good angles to look at it from maybe its impacts?

NEA is basically an essay that answers a question. You need to brainstorm and see what question you want to answer.

You must have picked the topic for a reason and therefore you now need to do some research to familiarise yourself with the area.

If it has to span that area then you need a theme, angle or aspect.

I normally say look at an event or person, but if the nature of your nea has to be it covers that period, then you are looking at things like influence, violence, activities, survival, method of business, change, evolution.
