Really struggling with essays for higher mods. In the exam, i’ve 3 to do, of; Democracy in Scotland, Crime and Law, International Issues World Powers (USA). Can anyone help?

Hi, I did higher modern studies last year and I would definitely suggest to use a PEEAREEAL structure:

P - Point
E - Explain
E - Example
A - Analysis
R - Rebuttal
E - Explain
E - Example
A - Analysis
L - Link

Make sure that your examples are up to date (less than 10 years old) and if you use a lot of facts and figures when explaining a topic, you will get extra KU marks. There are also model essays available online, but I could send you some of my old ones for DISUK and Crime and Law.

Hi, do you still have your old crime essays? specifically “To what extent do different forms of sentencing meet the aims of the Justice System (20)” Im really struggling with this one and it would be a big help to compare mine to yours if possible?
