If you want to, I do not see any reason why not...

If I remember correctly, you are allowed more characters on the MBBS Malta than on UCAS so you could add another paragraph if you wanted to, but the max number of characters is listed in the application portal so do check before submitting.

My whole personal statement was 872 words and 5526 characters and the additional paragraph why Malta was just 234 words/1453 characters.

Does anyone know if any financial support is offered I know the fees are much greater and it says no student loans can be taken has anyone found any other way around this?

Loans from commercial banks or parental support?

If finance wasn't an issue, QMUL Malta (like Buckingham) would be much, much more competitive .

If finance wasn't an issue, then it would be much more competitive - because you'd be getting a UK medical degree!

Every med school has a bottleneck, whether it's UCAT-heavy, BMAT-heavy, GCSE-heavy or having to pay full fees (e.g. Buckingham or QMUL Malta).
