help with a level history

The way I revise is I keep a themes and trends document that contains titles of common themes (because in the exam the questions you'll get are centred around them), and then I just refer back to it for 1 hour a week at least adding to it and so that I keep refreshing old content. and I also use these small ring flashcards and I write colour coded dates on one side (so yellow is political and pink is economic etc) and then on the other side are key events or acts that happened in that year.

I think the best thing with history though is just to keep going over it so that you don't forget it and right now I'm starting to do essay plans and practise source questions because past papers are the best way to prepare really.
