Speciality training in the UK

I have finished a 5 years speciality training in the field of obstetrics and gynecology in the United Arab Emirates Arab board certified, as well as I have passed mrcog part 3, how can I apply for a specalist job in obe Gyne in the UK?

So do you advise me that before i apply for a specalist job, i apply to either clinical attachement or a locum job for let's say a period of 6 months and then i apply to the specialist job?

If you've never lived/worked in the UK, I would agree with this. Going straight in as a consultant could be a big culture shock, not just clinically, but also in terms of how the organisation runs, where you fit in etc. It would probably also make actually getting a long term consultant job easier.
