I found PE quite boring. Every year consisted of netball, camogie, 'gymnastics' and then athletic stuff for sports day. I'm super unfit and have terrible eye-hand coordination so I was rubbish at all of those and it didn't help that I was in a class of people that were really good. The only time I actually liked PE was went we got to do unihockey, because it was something new for everybody.

PE was great because I was amazing at it but the shower arrangements were awful so it wasn't that great.

I love PE now. A-Lot of people bunk PE so teachers love to dress how it is used to release tension and stress created by GCSEs and how valuable it is.

they say that but i feel more stressed in PE, i've literally stood there in idleness for 3 years with the teacher nagging me to get involved. stressful.

Hate it. Especially when you forget your pe kit at home and told to wear something vile. People using deodorant enough to give anyone lung cancer and even if you break your arm you still need to try!!

3 pages and nobody has mentioned the horror of having to do cross country every year? I absolutely loved having to do long distance running, usually in the pouring rain, across fields and paths caked in mud and dog **** wearing nothing but a paper thin shirt and shorts...

Some kid in my class "accidentally" forgot his swimming kit.

The teacher asked him why he forgot it.

He replied "it hadn't dried yet".

I guess you can't blame them, it's not like you can just sit there in Maths for example and do nothing without getting told off:dontknow:

i remember doing that once but apart from that one time, cross country was optional, and for those who volunteered

Idk, I loved PE. We always had it at the end of the school day so we never had to sit sweaty and sticky in class and it was just such a stress-reliever tbh. I started actually missing at when I started college (we don't do PE at college here).

Our teacher made us do a lot of circuit training that I admit I despised at first. I was pretty lazy and hardly exercised then, but his suggestions really helped me and I strived to do better at his workouts every time we did them. They're what got me into fitness in the first place, so I'm not complaining at all.

They were like 5 second 'showers' which is why they were so pointless and disgusting, yet the teachers somehow didn't realise this :puke:

Omg I forgot, in year 8 the boys pe teacher was arrested for posession of child porn and according to our wacky English teacher (she was stoned every day I swear) he had been caught taking clothes off kids who were slow at getting changed and making them do pe in their underwear before, but was just given warnings. We didn't trust any pe teachers after that
