They're not that helpful because we obviously don't know our grades yet, but it's nice to get an idea of how high/low the grade boundaries are Good luck everyone!
Same here for History! You're probably not talking about CCEA, but the Irish History paper made no sense whatsoever - instead of giving the essay questions designated periods of time, they expected you to guess what they were talking about. In case they hadn't noticed, there were a lot of wars in Ireland during the early 1900s.
Haha wow good memory, yeah i thought it went alright. It was unit 4 that I did badly on and got a low B. You?
I retook unit 2 and that went really well, unit 5 went good too, but I'll just scrape through with an A. I'm on my gap year and only need 15 ums more from either unit 2 or 5 to get my A overall
This might be slightly out of date but in 2010 and 2011 this worked.
Get the UCAS track app on your phone and you'll see whether you're in or not immediately. I found out sitting on a beach in Miami at 5 in the morning.
Good luck guys and if you do miss out on the grades you were hoping for don't panic! I don't know a single person who wouldn't say that it's all turned out well for them in the end after they messed up. It's not ideal at the time but you'll sort it out!
So is mine. And they're accepting ABB or lower, but my offer was AAB
Although, it really doesn't mean much to us personally, so nothing left to do but wait!!
Have you Firmed Soton too? Good choice What course did you apply for? I chose Anthropology. I'm quite stunned at the selection of courses there, I'm no expert, but I thought Biology was a pretty popular course, and I wasn't aware Law usually went into clearing. Good luck everyone!
