A Vision, Price We Pay and Spellbound are all Foundation tier poems. They will NEVER be mentioned in the higher paper. Of course, you can use them for comparisons and you won't lose any marks, but they won't ever be the mentioned poems on the Higher tier paper.

For the foundation, longer poems like The Prelude and 2 other which I don't know won't be mentioned because they're Higher tier.
I've heard some people say that some poems are for foundation and some are for higher, however i didn't know about place, since my teacher never mentioned it, what poems do you think will come up tmrw since all the other ones are done.

Can someone please help me make some solid points about the poems:

To his coy mistress and Ghazal - I think they're best to compare but I'd really like a second opinion/some suggestions!

    (please!)

Anyone have ideas on what the best poem is to compare 'To his coy mistress to' from the relationship cluster???
Hour is probably the best as they both deal with love in relation to time, but also In Paris With You as they are both used to persuade

I didn't study Flag and The Falling Leaves properly, anyone know any good points to mention about them if they come up? I know it won't because it came up last year but I wish Out of the Blue would come up

Well they came up in 2013 Jan and June so I doubt it. I'm struggling, I don't even know where to start right now.

By the way guys, isn't it odd that you have to spend 30 minutes on the unseen poem just for 16 marks but 45 minutes on 36 marks? I know it's hard due to it being unseen, but I'd rather give myself that extra 5-10 mins doing the 36mark question

Hey, Im doing the same as you, i would recommend having a look at the exam board mark scheme because there is a lot of help on there, be sure to talk about like language techniques like caesuras and end stop lines, run on lines, punctuation and the effects, and specific words or repetition, metaphors, similies etc and the effect on the reader, good luck!
Thank You! You're a star Good Luck to you also

same here, but it's changed this year so now any of the 15 poems could come up:'(( there's a notice about it on the aqa website, which someone posted here earlier
Are they hinting that they will come up or are they using reverse psychology so that we end up revising for them and then they don't even come up :?

Does anybody have any predictions as to what might come up out of the 15 of them?
