I'm not going to go into too much detail due to what JCM89 said..I don't really want to open that can of worms but it was just a feeling I got when I was there. When visiting some unis I've really thought "wow, I could see myself here". Others I just wasn't excited about and it just didn't feel right. At the end of the day you have to choose a university that suits you. Theres no point in crossing one uni off because someone once said X about it. You should experience it for yourself =)

I think it is good to visit them- however i visited all the ones i was going to apply to and now i cant apply to sheffield due to my UKCAT score (average 655 but needed 670:sadnod: )so i will have one i havent visited.
With medicine i think its more a matter of where you can get into- so its not as important to me as if you're doing a course where you could go to any uni and you have the pick, with medicine they pick you!
