What make you think that it would set you back at all??? It certainly won't be seen as a negative result.

I know a 1 is good but this is sat in year 13 not year 12. And i remember DFranklin said that cambridge would probably expect anyone they accept onto their course to achieve an S in STEP I.

If its not seen as a negative thats good. I know a 1 in II and III is obviously very good, but for a year 13 sitting STEP I i was worried.

Whilst that may well be likely, it's not as though it's a requirement. It's really won't be of much consequence at all IMO.
