Uhh I think so  Have you visited reading? Its the only one of my uni's I hadnt visited before I applied so I'm looking forward to seeing it actually!

Yeah I've been up two or three times, my friend's in his 1st year so I've been up to visit him! It's such a good campus, I can't even explain it.. our campus is seperate from the main one but it's literally like a five/ten minute walk and our campus looks like Hogwarts wooooooo. When's your interview for there?

Hi why is Winchester your favourite? I've been offered a place there too but I don't know if I like it there yet. lol. It's my 2nd fave.

haha! I just loved it, it was my second last open day so I'd already seen Cardiff Met and Bath Spa, and the campus at Winch' is so beautiful. All the students were really friendly, and the course sounds great, they have an awesome rep for teacher training and it's just in the right place for me, about 1 1/2 hours from home. I liked all the accommodation too  I dunno, just everything about it I loved and aw just talking about it is getting me excited for September

Fingers crossed it'll go quickly up until then! Ah nice  I'm actually from Bath haha, Bath Spa is lush - I'd apply there if it wasn't a 10 minute drive from my house... have you had your Reading interview already then? I've applied to Reading, Plymouth, Leeds Met, Worcester and Brighton - been given interviews for all of them, had an offer from Worcester and still waiting to hear back from Plymouth! Leeds Met is the only one I haven't seen but I've heard good things about it and my interview's on Tuesday (if I can get there because of snow haha)

I'm from Yeovil, so it's pretty close for me too, about an hour. Yep, I've had my Reading interview: it went the worst, I think, out of all of them, but I'm getting a bit impatient waiting around for them now, I've emailed them as they said I'd hear in a week and now it's been 8 1/2 weeks!! Good luck with hearing back and getting to Leeds, ha, the snow is ok round Yeovil at the moment, the roads seem to be clear anyway

I've applied for Glasgow, Edinburgh, Dundee, Aberdeen and i have had welcome letters/emails from all of them except dundee!

I've had no invitations to interviews either, im quite worried :frown:

I got ABCCC Last year with the A in english, and i am predicted AAAA this year, any advice or help to calm my nerves?

All I can say is no news is good news! And Scottish uni's are renowned for being slow repliers  good luck!

My mum's worried we won't get there but the railway is clear apparently so fingers crossed it'll be okay  yeah the roads are clear here too but still!
Got a rejection from Plymouth for the Primary Ed course but an offer to do Education Studies there instead, anyone know what this is like?

Nah Durham is my first choice and I've already got an offer there so it's just deciding if I want Brooke's where I have an offer, Northumbria or reading as my back up

Hi I was offered this at St Mary's. It is basically a start into teaching but also has more opportunities I think. As in you wouldn't HAVE to become a teacher. Perhaps something else in education though. You would have to do pgce though afterwards if you wanted to teach. I asked ST Mary's why I'd been offered this instead and they said it was because I didn't talk enough about my school work experience in my personal statement. Every uni is different though as I have been offered three places  I would recommend asking for feedback if you wanted it. But that is what I know of the course

It was music spec.: I have anxiety disorder and I just lost all composure haha, my reading was so bad (even though I did my favourite book ever!). My audition was last, at 4:30 or something like that, so I was waiting around for ever, and then when I went in, sat at the piano, and then the interviewer said he was going to get some paperwork and left for about 15 minutes. I was like WHAT'S HAPPENING?! So I won't be surprised if I've completely messed it up. I just want to know!!

Ah okay, thankyou! I was trying to find out more info but didn't find the website particularly helpful... I've told them I'm interested but it'll be my absolute absolute back up, such as if my maths skills test goes horrifically wrong. I've asked them for feedback so hopefully I'll find out soon!

Aw no that's such a shame! Maybe they'll take that into consideration? What book did you do? That's so so weird that he left you, wouldn't help the nerves at all! Poor you :frown:

Ah cool! Uuuuum I'd probably go for the one that has the lowest grades if you really can't choose? Just as a safe option in case anything terrible happens..

Thankfully ICT is one exam and the rest coursework so that isn't too bad  !

Ohh well done! I have an interview for Birmingham City on the 28th Feb, heard nothing from anywhere else yet :frown: Getting nervous!

Yes that was what I was going to do, but then I passed my QTS tests first time so it wasn't an issue in the end  Th course I was offered was education and social science. But I'm not doing that one
Do you get to use pen and paper in the numeracy test? (especially the mental stuff)

Thanks
