Is it worth getting my GCSE results remarked?

On the whole, i'm pleased with my results, but I missed out on A* in Italian by 1 mark. I gained 269 marks out of 270 needed for an A*. I also missed out by 1 mark on getting an A* in geography as I gained 215 marks out of the 216 needed. How likely is it that I would gain one extra mark (or lose marks) in each subject if I got them remarked?

Both are somewhat subjective subjects i.e. one examiner could think at least 1 mark differently to another examiner. I would personally say yes to both, as it's like near impossible for you to go down by a grade, but be cautious about the marks staying the same or going down and you'd still have to pay!

Would the marks be more likely to go up, down or stay the same?

I'm really confused too, missed out on A* in French, got 268 ums instead of 270, and same for science, should I get it remarked and if so how do I do it, and how much will it cost?
I missed out on an A* in Spanish... 4 marks :frown:

Has anyone gone for a remark yet?

Is it worth it for me, I got
Reading and listening both A*s
Writing A
Speaking D when my teacher said A*- can I remark my speaking?
