Success in IB History?

Hey everyone :smile:
I started the IB diploma in January this year and I'm studying History SL. So far I've had this general impression that it's quite difficult, even at SL, to get 6s and 7s, although I'm well aware that HL History is harder.
Any advice for doing well in History specifically? Even as an SL subject it's important for the overall grade, and I'm quite intimidated by it given I didn't study it for GCSEs :s-smilie:
It also seems like it's difficult to score well in the IA for History.
All advice very much welcome :smile: Thanks guys:biggrin:

Hey! I take History HL and my main advice for you is to read read read!

Read the information that is given to you on the topic but most of all make sure you understand what is going on. In history there is usually just one straight answer which makes it a bit easier . Also read how to write a good history essay and how to answer questions in paper 1. There are loads of resources available on the internet.

Hard work and perseverance will pay off in the end
:smile::wink:
