Personally I think something to do with immigration is very likely to come up in exam now. As well, as Dollar Diplomacy or Open Door Policy. Maybe Red Scare or Prohibition too.

Maybe someone anyone has a copy of the January 2013 paper/can remember the questions???
How's revision going everyone? I don't think Prohibition will come up because it came up last year!!! I need to get the January 2013 paper to see what came up. Anyone seen it?
Yep. I'm doing this exam! What do you guys think will come up?

oh yes, Volstead Act came up in June'12 so probably Prohibition wont come up now.
In the january exam 2013 the spanish american was came up and teddy's foreign policy
Are you sure teddy and the Spanish American war came up? do you have the paper, can you upload it?? what else came up?

Have you guys revised the open door policy... any one have any good notes on the increase in organised crime and its impact on society. I desperately need it.
So worried about this exam. Have revised but not well...i am making a revision guide over the weekend. Could someone quiz me on here? Give me 5 questions that require a short answer to test my memory?
Janurary 2013
Teacher only printed out question 1 for our class;

Explain why the usa went to war against spain in 1898? 12marks

How important was theodore roosevelt in influencing US foreign policy in the years 1900 to 1920? 24marks

If anyone knew questions 2 and 3 it would be much appreciate
... Predictions personally think for question 1 domestic policy is most likely to come up as previous jan 2013 (see above) and june 2012 question 1 both 12+24marks were about foreign policy so maybe something on populism or progessivism (hasn't been on since 09) big businesses or maybe expansionism, imperialism. Ww2 second new deal, atomic bombs why us used them (the three explination theories put forward by historians) ect..
What could they ask about domestic policies??
Could they ask about McKinley?
Have you studied Woodrow Wilson policies?
Can the open door policy come up as a 12 mark?

N'arw nooo I wanted those questions in our exam! Damn Haha thanks for posting them!

Domestic policy (1890-1920)
Why the usa was so successful economically.
Why and how problems developed with growing industrialisation.
How successful socialism/populism/progressivism as a movement (just learn a few fact dates/ what their aims were why they didn't break through).
How progressive was taft/teddy/wilson.
How ww1 effected progressivism.
Problems accociated with immigration (remember pre 1920)

WW2 is a bitch but I havent done New Deal so I will not be able to learn all the alphabet agencies between now and Tuesday...
