GCSE Revision Focus

I can't keep focus when revising for my exams. I've got a load and I'd like to actually put a bit of effort in, nothing too much perhaps an hour - two hours a day, but I can't keep concentration, I end up getting bored out of my mind and I feel like I'm writing a load of irrelevant information.

The main ones are my Biology, Chemistry and Physics exams, Maths and English are fine. Can anyone suggest any ideas? I dislike writing things out repeatedly and I dislike reading from a book, I need to be more creative with my revision.

Flash cards, mind maps, quizzes, group revision etc. can all be a break from other methods of revision. Otherwise, just sit down and work your way through past papers - it's motivating to see your improvements.

You might be able to get some study materials on an audio tape, so you could listen to it whilst doing something else if need be. Games with work, or songs to remember bits of information really help me. But I agree past papers are great too.
