I have been out a few times which a guy comes, he knows my friends and travels an hour away to come out. The other day we spent hours talking and he was asking about where I grew up and my family, asked where I live now and what my aspirations are. He kept using my name in conversation. He told me about when he grew up etc. He bought me a drink and said goodbye (usually he doesn't say goodbye). Is he interested?
Are you interested? He definitely seems interested in you as he's asking a lot of questions about you and your life and he's consoled with you about his past too. If you're interested, I'd ask him out. He seems nice 
He sounds interested.
