How do I revise for english language and literature?

Can someone please tell me what to do? I have my mocks on the following monday and I have no idea how to revise. I feel like I know everything but everytime I get my marks back they are so much lower than expected. I feel like such a failure. No matter how much I read over my notes and texts do past papers they don't seem to help :frown:

I'm sorry for being so whiney but if there's anything you think I could do I would really appreciate it if you told me.

BTW my exam board is AQA and I'm studying 'an Inspector calls' and 'to kill a mockingbird' for English lit
