Yes, Vermaelen had a tendency to wander off and get caught out a lot. Koscielny is stronger in the air and the tackle.

Koscielny is miles beyond Vermaelen but if your saying you haven't seen or payed much attention to him then there you go.

He's been good with one on ones, was probably behind Aaron Ramsey for player of the season (for arsenal) though I can admit he hasn't looked quite close to his best right now.
