Wore a polka dot bikini in swim class at school, AMA!

Why did you have swimming class when you were 12? That seems super late.

Agreed - oh well, I guess I can only save them for the beach.

To be fair, bikinis are never supposed to be for swim lessons and chlorinated water anyway. I guess you were lucky once but that doesn't change anything.

Because I went to only one school who did swim lessons as part of their curriculum.

I guess I have to ask, are there any good looking long lasting polyester bikinis anymore? Maybe similar to what I had?

I looked on Google and they have very limited resistance to chlorinated water. I guess the only way you can do is to make it yourself or spend a good amount of time searching or asking.
Were you any good at swimming? Did you enjoy swim class or was it a lesson you hated?

I'm asking because I was awful and hated swimming lessons.

I don't know why someone reported this thread for Advertising :lolwut:

They probably had several tabs open and meant to report something else.

Yes, I was very good at swimming. And I definitely enjoyed it

The first time was a bit scary though - because of my unique attire and I wasn't used to changing in front of a room filled with naked girls. At least in that time, anyway.

I found later on that bikinis can interfere with your movements when doing proper swimming, just mine was a simple one with no fancy strings or buckles. It also lasted for 10 years and even then, it's too small for me and was never destroyed from all the chlorine. I do wish that they would still make such long-lasting bikinis.

Alors on Dance by Stromae, how about you?

my mom still wear one she wore when she was fifteen (she's now forty something), and despite her putting on a couple of stone it still fits perfectly and shows no sign of wear and tear. Yet when she buys a new one it last at the most two years :P

That seems a bit weird. Did you not have access to cubicles? We did, I just assumed everywhere had that arrangement.

Wow, that's amazing!

My current one (pink floral one) is comfy but I'm afraid to use it for swim lessons because the chlorine is too much. My old pink-and-white striped one was destroyed after about 10 swims, not good.

Nope, no cubicles. There were two bathroom cubicles and they were always occupied.

i for one would appreciate an artist's impression of you in the bikini. feel free to increase breast size to keep the illusion going.

I didn't take swimming lessons until I was around 13/14, with my school :dontknow:

Yeah, I first started swim lessons in school at the age of 12. But I first bought the bikini (or at least, my parents bought it for me) when I was 6. It became small for me at 16.

when was the last time you swam?
how tall are you?
how many relationships have you had?
what you going to do after graduating?
Did anyone say anything about your bikini?
what is the most recent food you have eaten?
favourite soft drink?
favourite alcoholic drink?
do you go to the gym?
can you drive?
do you believe in god?
if you could live in any country for a year which would it be?
are you a pacifist?
can you now swim after those lessons?
have you eaten haggis?
have you eaten black pudding?
favourite pizza?
favourite flavour of ice cream?

thats enough for now.

Bubblegum is the GOAT flavour for icecream, shame it's a pain in the ass to buy.
