Any musical people at Southampton? :)

I'm gonna be studying BSC Psychology and staying in Mayflower accommodation, but a hobby and passion I hope to be able to keep up at uni is music :P so I was just wondering if there were any fellow music lovers who were interested in the societies such as the performing arts or the live music ones? I'm only gonna be able to take my bass guitar as I don't think i'll be able to fit my piano or drum kit in my accommodation :P

I want to learn acoustic guitar when I'm at southampton- i've been wanting to learn for the longest time and I think university will be the perfect opportunity to start. I used to play the piano so I have a little knowledge on music- hopefully i'll catch on quick. Do you know if there's going to be instrumental lessons available in the student union?
