Is There Any Help For "Forever Alone" Guys?

Obviously there's nothing wrong with being single, but many guys (TSR being a shining example of this sometimes, TBH) end up being single not by choice, which leads to a perpetual cycle of them being more angry against women and socially stunted, which reduces their chances, and so on. Most socially well-adjusted people will probably never have met such a person IRL, but you can find many online forums (like PUAHate) abuzz with such bitter little bees.

Is there anything society can do to save the Elliot Rodger "supreme gentleman" types? Or will such people inevitably become lost causes to others till they grow the hell up and learn to take responsibility for their lives?

Furthermore, do you think society places too much of a premium on relationships/sex for young people? It's silly seeing people be virtually obsessed with that at the age when they should be focusing on their studies and careers. Realistically, most young relationships don't even last.

N.B: Expecting the troll comments before they get here. Anything retarded will be reported and spammed mercilessly till the mods arrive.

"supreme gentlemen", what? I've found that if someone calls themselves a gentleman, they most likely aren't.

I 100% agree with you that society places too much premium on relationships/sex for young people. also what is PUAHate?

As for the Elliot Rogers type I don't really know, didn't he suffer from Asperges syndrome?

Hey  I know, it's ridiculous.

PUAHate is a forum that Elliot Rodgers used to post on/got a lot of his weird ideas from. It's really misogynist, I wouldn't recommend visiting.

He did, yeah, but some of the ideas he got online and so on probably contributed to his overall way of thinking to some extent. Those forums aren't filled with well adjusted people unfortunately :s-smilie:

Depends on their age, the younger they are the more likely they can break the unhealthy attitudes.

Really it depends on the advice they get and the examples they see.

If they spend their time reading idiotic misogynistic PUA advice or PUAhate (two sides of the same coin) stuff from other losers and no-hopers, then they will never get better.

If on the other hand, they ask sensible advice from older more well-adjusted guys either in reality or on places like TSR, and they go out and socialise with more successful friends and see how they talk to women in a friendly, flirty, but respectful way that treats them as interesting individuals not just pieces of meat, then they should eventually understand the change in mindset that is needed.
