The Student Room Group

Physiology/Pharmacology/Pathophysiology Books, are they worth buying?

I am currently a student nurse in the West of England University and received a voucher from our uni - 25% off the following books:

Memmler's The Human Body in Health and Disease
Focus on Nursing Pharmacology - UK Edition - Karch, Amy Morrison
Essentials of Pathophysiology - Carol Porth

Has anyone used any of the books mentioned? Can anyone give me a review of them or recommend any good similar books for university.
Will I be using them for the whole 3 years?

The books are still expensive even with the voucher and don't want to regret in the end. Any help will be appreciated.
Memmler's The Human Body in Health and Disease - great book. 5/5
Focus on Nursing Pharmacology - UK Edition - Karch, Amy Morrison - also another great book - 4/5
Essentials of Pathophysiology - Carol Porth - another 4/5

They are very informative!

Condoms can be expensive, however you can get free ones at request at your local pharmacy
