Mathematics

My GCSEs exams are just over 80 days away!
For A Level I'm taking..
-Mathematics - Mock grade C
-Economics - Mock grade A
-Geography - Mock grade A*
-Sociology - N/A

For my school we need a minimum of an A to do maths at A level
My tutor keeps saying you'll get an A* schools just judge people
And I've always been a C/B student in maths. I don't want an A. I want an A*! It's funny because I get them in small practice tests at home or with a tutor but every paper at school has always been a C/B
Do you guys think I'll get an A* in time for the real exams?!
I'm so scared if I don't do maths im literally screwed!!

Don't worry seriously, I pretty much failed every unit test we had but then managed to get at A* in the real thing. Basically do as many practice papers as possible and if you don't know how to answer a question just stare at it and it'll come to you, at least that's what happened to me

If you have a private tutor and are still a C grade student in mathematics then, in my professional opinion, you are unlikely to attain an A* in May. Grade B should be relatively easy to secure and grade A is not impossible.

Seek the advice of your teacher (not the person who is being paid to blow smoke up your behind) regarding your suitability for A Level mathematics. It is a LOT more difficult than GCSE.
