Theology at Cambridge

Has anyone had a Theology interview at Cambridge? Or anywhere! What did they ask you!?

Also, anyone applying to/already at/went to Kings College? What did you like about it?

Hey, first year theologian at King's here... Theology is great, so's the college. Did you have Ian Thompson? What did you think of him? He told me there were 7 applying this year, I think. There's 5 theology students in the college at the moment, 2 in my year and 2 in second- small enough that you'll get to know eveyone. The theology faculty is good, too- tiny, so pretty much the whole year group know each other. And the way Ian organizes our supervisions means we seem to have less written work than a lot of the other subjects... woohoo! AND while other colleges have theology exams at the beginning of each term, when I asked Ian about it his response was 'Not on yer life!', so yeah, theology-Kingsmen get a pretty good deal!

can you remember what questions they asked you in your interview?
I'm really worried I wont be able 2 remember all my AS/A2 work and what each philosopher said :frown:

huzzah, quite the detective!

how's it goin? sorry, we hardly talked this term... everythin was kinda surreal at first for me, so i prob didn't socialise as much as id've liked. enjoying the vac..?

Yeh, it was good- tho it's hard to even think about it now, my home seems to be a totally different world that I've just sort of tumbled back into... probably shot myself in the foot by making friends at other colleges early on, cos I didn't spend all that much time in king's. i can honestly say I didn't feel the weekly essay crisis- not through any kind of effort on my part, but because theology just doesn't seem to exist in the world of work or essays :cool:

mwahaha, a degree well chosen! how did the interview week go? oh, and applicants (um...sorry to hijack your thread with happy kingsmen reunions!) how did your interviews go?
