moving into halls
Hi I'm starting uni for the first time in September and I have a date for moving into uni halls. However it's possible that I could be away on the date I'm meant to move in. Its on the Saturday but could I arrive earlier or later? Or do I have to be there on the saturday?

It varies from halls to halls. Best thing to do is read your tenancy agreement, there should be a clause about this. If you can't find it then just ring your student halls' reception and ask them

Generally you can't move in earlier because rooms aren't usually ready until the start date of the contract, however if you let the uni accomodation dept know you should be able to move in later
