Does a hole in a tooth need a filling if there is no pain?

I am turning 29 in july and i have noticed recently i have a very small hole on a molar tooth, i am 100% it is one because it is dark spot, but at present there is no symptoms, so i am wondering if there is no pain does it need to be filled by a dentist or can it be left. I can eat and drink on it no problem and i am bit scarred of dentists. Any advice on this please?

Go to the Dentist, they're the experts.
Yes, I think it should be filled in - otherwise bacteria will make the hole worse, and *then* the pain will kick in.
I think i will go to dentist i had one filling at 24 it will only be number two blame it on sweet tooth and the last thing i want is pain i will have to be a ****ing woman not a little girl ****ing
