Tentacle like thing in my vagina

(Reposting this as I think I posted it on the wrong health forum) Hii! I started masturbating two years ago. At first it was just on my clit and then after a few months I wanted to try fingering inside. However, there is a tentacle thing in my vagina that makes it difficult. The tentacle thing has a small hole in it (just like how the cervix is described). I'm fourteen and don't want to ask any family members about it. I've looked online and can't find anything about it. To add some more detail (sorry if it's TMI), when I go to the toilet and sit down it is very close to hanging out the hole. I do not think anything is wrong with me as there is no pain when I touch it or anything. Just wondering if this is normal? Will it go when I'm an adult? Thanks for reading!!
No it is not normal - who knows if it is an old tampon or a minor prolapse of some part but you do need some proper help not guesses from TSR members.

Ring NHS 111 and find out what your options are for getting some confidential professional medical advice. You are old enough to go to a sexual health clinic anywhere (or your GP surgery if you trust them) with an appointment and have your details and condition dealt with in complete privacy. As long as you understand what is being said to you and you are deemed competent you don't have to have your parents informed.

Thank you for your reply! I have never used a tampon so it definitely isn't that. It could be a prolapse, but after reading the symptoms I really don't think I do, plus it is rare for teens to get it. This may sound stupid, but I honestly can not go to a sexual health clinic or a GP. Im not alllwed to go out. it does not cause me any pain or issues, I can get my fingers in there, I get my periods etc. but I can't actually put my fingers all the way in there because of it. I also don't want to tell my mother about it as she will probably realise I'm masturbating and I really don't want her to know. Thank you so much for your advice though

By the way, I don't know if it was you who sent me a private pm but just incase it is I am not able to reply as my account has to be three days old and I only made it today for this!

Wonder if could be inner labia or a part of your hymen?

This may sound stupid, but I honestly can not go to a sexual health clinic or a GP. I am homeschooled and not really allowed to go out either, only on walks. And even then they like me to go with my brother, it does not cause me any pain or issues, I can get my fingers in there, I get my periods etc. but I can't actually put my fingers all the way in there because of it. Hey @Phoebeee1090

My name is Flo and I work for the Sexual Health charity Brook! (If you don't know who we are you can check us out here https://www.brook.org.uk/ )

We are answering sexual health-related questions for Sexual Health Week and I came across your question and thought I could offer some support and advice.

It's good to know that you aren't experiencing any pain, and it's important to remember that everyone's vulvas (the outside genitalia) and vaginas (the internal canal) all look different! People's vulvas and vagina can be all different shapes, sizes and colours! However, it's always important to speak to a medical professional if something doesn't feel "normal", or if a piece of skin or vaginal tissue feels as though it could fall out whilst you use the loo. It's important to speak to someone as you don't want to rip or tear it!

Now you mentioned that getting to a sexual health clinic isn't a possibility for you, although the advice I would give firstly is definitely to speak to someone you trust, whether this is a GP, Sexual health nurse or an adult. If this isn't a possibility then you should ask for an over-the-phone consultation. You can call your local sexual health clinic or GP and ask to speak with a doctor over the phone. (Check out our "Brook: Find a service tool" to find your nearest clinic, don't forget to select NHS clinics too! https://www.brook.org.uk/find-a-service/) You could use one of your walks out of the house to speak with a medical professional over the phone. It may be worth using a hand-held mirror when you're in the bathroom to have a clear look at what you're feeling, this may help when describing what you see and feel to the Doctor or nurse.

It's important to remember that NHS and Brook's services are completely free and confidential, even if you are under the age of 16. They do not disclose that you have spoken with anyone and they do not share your information from your appointment to your parents/ carers.

For more info on vaginas and vulvas in general, check out our website! https://www.brook.org.uk/topics/vaginas-and-vulvas/#tab-information-and-advice

We will be checking messages every day this week, I hope this was helpful and have a wonderful week!

Remnant hymen tissue?
Holy shiit, I have the exact same thing since childhood! I even tried watching porn, reading biology stuff just to figure out what it really is. But after all these years, I still couldn't figure out 🫠

Late reply, but would that come from the inside?

I am literally so relieved that someone also had this😭! Honestly, I have researched it for hours and hours and I cannot find anything about it. I have given up at this point and I just now assume it's a birth defect or something (random guess). Does it ever cause you any issues?

I was too scared to even touch that thing. And I'm worried if it would cause serious problems during sexual intercourse. I've never had a boyfriend so, I don't know. But it kinda hurts when I press that small hole on the tentacle. I don't know if it would be the same in your case. Sorry for the late reply, i didn't see the noti.

Not a medic (yet lol) but I think it could be Vestibular papillomatosis. I mean you could look at pictures and compare it to your symptom, but overall it's not considered a health risk or anything.

Hope this helps! And good luck ig

No. They are small 1-2mm bumps, not a 'tentacle'

Yes, usually they are however in some rare cases and considering the erm explicit images lol some can progress to look like mini tentacles. But of course, they're very minute.

Not sure tho. It would be best to get it checked out by a professional.
