Post A Level French study

Hi,

I'm taking A Level French next year and hoping to study law at university. I do not want to take a language as part of my degree, however are there any other options (except Erasmus) which could further my knowledge perhaps to fluency? Thanks

Regular practice! Find yourself a French conversation group locally; listen to French daily (the internet has loads of news websites); read French books / newspapers / magazines; write to a French correspondent or register with a French forum and have regular exchanges there. Go to a French-speaking country for the holidays - either do some volunteering or get a paid job. Or you could go on French language courses in France during the holidays, but these do tend to be quite expensive.
