Hi there,

Are you joining us in September? We'll be taking date range into account when we allocate, so it's worth applying for accommodation now even if you want to change your choices before the 31 July deadline.

In terms of choosing which rooms/colleges to put on your preference list, it really depends what's important to you. If there's a particularly room type you want (eg catered/self-catered or ensuite/shared bathroom), that might help you narrow it down.

As a starting point, you might want to look at Vanbrugh - it has some really great music facilities (http://www.york.ac.uk/colleges/vanbrugh/music/) and a good mix of room types (some newer ensuite rooms and some older economy rooms, as well as a mix of catered and self-catered).
