The day goes more or less how it says in the email. The group interview was easy the group just got given a scenario based question and you basically had to discuss it and then the 1-1 interview was really informal which really helped me relax. The student nurse escorts you to your 1-1 interview aswell so you're not panicking which I found really helpful! I'm hoping to do adult nursing at UoB but I want Keele or Wolverhampton to be my insurance. What about you??

How did keele get in contact with you??

Hi everyone

My chosen branch is adult nursing.

I have applied for Kings, Kingston, LSBU, City and Surrey.
Had invites from all 5 choices. Went to King's last Wednesday for literacy and numeracy and Kingston on Friday and have been offered a place there today which I think I will accept.
I hope we all get the offers we want soon.

Congtaulations! Could I just ask which one you got the offer from?
I've applied at Kingston too! I was just wondering how did you found the day and the exams and what were they like? Also, what type of questions did they ask you during you interview? - any tips will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

I got an offer from Kingston. The numeracy for Kingston is pretty tough compared to Kings and you can't use a calculator. Some is basic stuff but I am pleased I used the sample test on Kingston's website to prepare. Literacy was fine. The MMIs were fine too. Obviously I can't share what we were asked to do but they were not as bad as I expected.
Hi Emma,

That's great, well done! Here is some helpful information to help you prepare for your interview - http://www.swansea.ac.uk/humanandhealthsciences/prospective-nursing-students/

Please let me know if you have any other questions and good luck!

Well done to everyone recieving offers. I'm very jealous :-). I had an interview at Bangor last Wednesday and haven't heard back yet. They said we would hear by Christmas. Has anyone else heard back from Bangor?
How long do universities usually take to respond? I've applied to Nottingham, Derby, Coventry, DMU and Sheffield for adult nursing and have only recieved acknowledgement emails and nothing from Coventry :frown: getting so impatient 🙄🙄

I'm supposed to have an interview at york this Saturday but my brother is in hospital so I've asked if I can request another date instead. Does anyone know if they'll let me do this?😔

I am sure that they do if the reason for changing the date is appropriate- which yours is!!! When did you apply for York? Because j also have but heard nothing back from them

I emailed them and they emailed me back pretty much straight away asking me if I wanted to be put on a waiting list for another date  I applied as soon as UCAS opened which was mid-september and I got invited to an interview at the start of November so it was a long wait! I hope you hear something back from them soon!
I've got a conditional offer from Northumbria for September 2016! So excited
