How much is a pint at your uni?

I went back up to Hull recently and bought two pints and it came to £3.40. The conversation went something like this:

Barman: That's £3.40 then
Me: Oh sorry, I got two...
Barman: Yeah that's £3.40 please
Me: No no, I ordered two pints...
Barman: Yes, that's £3.40 :sigh:
Me: *slow realisation*....for both?
Barman: You've been down south too long
Me: :puppyeyes: :cry2: :adore::beer:

How much is a pint around your uni and where abouts in the UK are you?

Uni: Hull
Pint: ~£1.70
Location: North East

Apparently its roughly £2.10 a pint in most pubs round here, Preston is supposedly one of the cheapest places to be a student in the Uk

Pesky London, encroaching on everywhere :shakecane:
North West - Liverpool - £2.50-£3.00

Although on a Monday in Wetherspoons its £2 for most pints
Norwich - I can get one for around £2.15

That's not too bad, although £3 is verging on unreasonable :beard:

I can still remember the day when the price of a pint of Newcastle Brown Ale went up to 17p in my uni bar. It seems a lifetime ago.

Ah I miss the £1 a pint nights :moon:
You can get a really nice ale for £3.20 here (which in London I'd pay over a fiver for!)

But on Wednesdays, £1 pints! :ahee:

It's sounds really strange when you say it like that.
Anywhere between £1.90-2.70. Usually around the £2 mark.
If you go to the like totally amazing University of Manchester, then it's a £1 for a pint. I think it's reasonably priced but apparently the tap is better at Spoons so it's worth like the approximate £3.50. :colonhash:
