Apparently its roughly £2.10 a pint in most pubs round here, Preston is supposedly one of the cheapest places to be a student in the Uk

I can still remember the day when the price of a pint of Newcastle Brown Ale went up to 17p in my uni bar. It seems a lifetime ago.
If you go to the like totally amazing University of Manchester, then it's a £1 for a pint. I think it's reasonably priced but apparently the tap is better at Spoons so it's worth like the approximate £3.50.
