Should I ask her out?

I really like a girl, she's beautiful and intelligent and very motivated. We haven't spoken for quite some time as we haven't bumped into each other for a while, but we used to talk on occasion (different friendship groups, didn't like her friends in all honesty) and share a laugh and flirt every now and then. I really grew to like her, but have no contact with her. Every now and then I see her from afar in college, but it's always as I'm moving between lessons.

I want to ask her out, because she's my exact type, doesn't have a boyfriend crucially and always seemed like a really sweet and unique girl. Should I ask her out? (I barely see her so small talk every now and then won't work, it's now or never)
