Films and books have given people the idea that teenagers have to live the 'Skins life' or are else missing out.

My years involved lots of drinking but were certainly not wild.

Many people have not done nearly as much as they would have you believe.

Ultimately life is often mundane and boring. We have to create a bit of excitement by doing what we enjoy.

So do what you enjoy.

How old are you? Depending upon your age, any youth clubs? Where I live there's a youth club that allows people up to 25 years old (the other is 21). That would be a good place to socialise and even make new friends so then you can expand your interests and hobbies with them!

Also, if you look around at local community centres or colleges there may be free classes/courses that you can participate in come the evening. Art is offered for free as well as computing, drama, sports and many other things where I live.
