Is Core Science and Additional Science to separate GCSEs?

Last year I did OCR Core Science in Year 10 and got a C in it. I am now doing Additional Science in Year 11, if I get a C in this does this mean that these are 2 GCSES which count towards the 5? I

Um, I'm sure about core science.

But I think Additional Science is Double Science which means you get 2 spectate GCSE grades out of the 3 sciences?
Two separate GCSE's. One core grade, one additional grade. They aren't added together to make an ultimate 'science' grade, they are two separate GCSE's.
