Unrequited love & frustration

Hi,

I wanted to ask those who, despite being in love with sb else, are capable of sleeping with other ppl (sth a la Noah from the notebook). How does it feel like? Are you somehow distancing yourself mentally and just do it for physical release?

I'm considering taking that step but then I feel insanely sad, it's like "it's that person or nobody else"...
